Business Travel With a Lighter Footprint

Business travel has a real environmental cost, and pretending otherwise helps no one. The realistic goal is not to stop traveling but to make each trip count and trim the waste around it.

Combine trips so one journey serves several purposes, choose direct flights where takeoffs and landings drive much of the impact, and lean on rail for shorter city pairs where it is competitive. Fewer, better-planned trips beat a constant stream of quick hops.

Track what you fly so the numbers are visible. Many organizations now report travel emissions, and a clear picture makes it far easier to decide which trips truly need to happen in person.
